Traverse City, Michigan - Ronnie "Ron" LeRoy Miller, 81, of Traverse City died January 29. He was born July 4, 1944, in Lansing, MI. The son of late Arnold and Eldene (Guernsey) Miller.

He graduated from Lansing High School. He then joined the United States Navy April 1966 and was honorably discharged November 1973. While serving, he married the love of his life, Patricia "Patty" Ann Pilarski. He then worked for Consumers Energy for 30 years.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He enjoyed scuba diving, camping, downhill skiing, and being surrounded by family and friends.

He is survived by his children, Kim (Patrick) Weber and Lori (Brent) Hickey; his grandchildren, Amanda (Jake) Lidak, Jillian Weber (Alex Clopcic), Brandon Weber, Jacob Hickey, and Jenna Hickey; his great-grandchildren, Cutler Lidak and Lincoln Lidak; his sister, Sherrie (Jerry) Baker; his brothers, Scott (Ruth) Miller and Rex (Clarisa) Miller.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Miller; sister, Arnoldene "Kay" Lamar; and his parents, Arnold and Eldene Miller.

The family would like to thank all of the staff at French Manor Terra and Yorkshire Manor for the wonderful level of care.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring/summer of 2026, with close family and friends.
