Rapid City, Michigan - Ruth Ann Belfi, 84, of Rapid City, MI, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025. She was born on June 8, 1941, in Detroit, Ml.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents Arthur and Grace (Steffes) Belfi. She is survived by her brother David (Carleen) Belfi, nieces Christine (Joel) Lightfoot, Sharon (Lee) Kramer, great nieces Alliah, Julia, and her chosen friends and family Mary Ellen Sarasin; Linda Spayth; Eric, Christine, Mason, Ashley and Ryan Crissman.
Ruth Ann lived a great life of service to God and her community. A former nun and nurse, she spent her life giving back to others and her community. She spent her final years living in her beautiful home in Rapid City, enjoying her garden and the serene views of Elk Lake. She will be missed by her friends and family for her wonderful conversations and her caring nature for her church and her community.
Mass from the Order of Christian Funerals will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 11 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 143 Charles, Elk Rapids, MI 49629 with Father Cleetus officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 am until the time of mass at 11.
