Williamsburg, Michigan - Sandra "Sandy" Otten, 83, of Williamsburg, MI, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025, surrounded by her family. Sandy was born in Detroit, MI before moving to Royal Oak, where she graduated from high school. She married her one true love, Thomas Otten, in 1964, and was married for 56 years, prior to Tom passing. Sandra moved to the Traverse City area after her husband retired from the Royal Oak Fire Department, where she worked in retail until she retired in 2005.

Sandy was a kind woman, loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed and forever loved. Sandy will be remembered for her generous heart and sarcastic humor. Sandy leaves behind her daughter Holly Frances (Matthew) Darcy; son, Douglas Albert (Anessa) Otten; grandchildren, Thomas Otten, Clark Darcy, and Vivian Matteson; and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister and brother. At this time, no services are planned in accordance with Sandy's wishes.
