Thaddeus Adam Chwalibog (Ted) Obituary
Interlochen, Michigan - Thaddeus "Ted" Adam Chwalibog, of Interlochen, Michigan, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2026, at the age of 83, with his wife of 63 years, Diann, by his side.
Born December 24, 1942, in Kraków, Poland, Ted was known for his quick wit, storytelling, and love of fishing and hunting. He proudly served eight years in the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Diann; children Rebecca (Paul Mead), David (Stephanie Dailey), John (Kelly), and Adam (Stephanie); brother Andrew (Eileen) Chwalibog, Lt. Col., U.S. Army (Ret.); 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. His son, David, preceded him in death.
In keeping with Ted's wishes, no services are planned at this time.
Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, Covell-Traverse City Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
