Grawn, mi - Grawn-Wayne Mackey, born March 12, 1948, was the son of Frank and Leona. A graduate of Kingsley area schools, he went on to retire from Sara Lee in Traverse City.
As a dedicated member of Grawn United Methodist church, Wayne held dear his relationships with God, family, and friends.
His leisure activities included fishing and car races, with a particular fondness for the Grand Teton mountains.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, wife Linda, brother and sister-in-law Durwin and Phyllis, and niece Gwen Gehrcke. Surviving him are his niece Marsha (Roberta) Wasielewski, Christopher, Jada, Noah, Denise Daniels, and her children Jeremy, Matt, and Alyssa, as well as close friends Juanita Frost, Will Monahan, James Kolarovic, and many others.
A graveside celebration of life will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Kingsley, MI, at a later date.
