Wesley Dale Spink, 79 years 7 months 8 days old, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023.

Wes was on born August 8, 1943, in Morristown, MI.

He graduated in 1961, from Traverse City Central High School. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Airforce where he was stationed in Panama. After returning home he went to Construction School. He made his home in Rapid City to be near his grandparents. Wes was known by so many in the Torch River/Torch Lake area, he built many homes, plowed snow in the winters and looked after people's cottages in the surrounding areas.

In 1968 he married Phyllis Finney and they went on to have a daughter Charise in 1970. After divorcing in 1973 he remained in the area. In 1990 he had a second daughter Logan Edgecomb-Balon.

He was an amazing father and grandfather! He loved hunting and fishing and was involved in all of his grandchildren's activities.

He was proceeded in death by his parents Ila (Mosher) Spink, Fredric Spink, sister Florence aka Fritz Spink, grandparents Florence (Pardee) Mosher, and Dale Mosher.

Surviving Wes are his daughters Charise Spink and Logan (John) Balon; grandchildren Blake, Baylee, Colton West, Jordyn and George Balon; brothers Fredric aka Butch, Tom (Barb), and Bill.

There will be a celebration of life in August of 2023.
