Thompsonville, Michigan - Zachary Daniel Pearson, 47, of Thompsonville, was tragically and unexpectedly lost on May 14, 2025. Born April 26, 1978, in Traverse City, Michigan, to Joni Lewis Pearson and Daniel Pearson (deceased). Zachary lived a vibrant life and still had so much ahead of him! He is survived by: his mother, Joni Pearson; son, Caleb Pearson, who was his pride and joy; sister and brother-in-law, Stephanie "Lil Sis" and Mark "Sparky" Blonshine; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and Friends including special friends, Barry Yacks, Kevin Moore and Derrick Kincaid; along his trusted dog, Dozer. He was especially close with his cousin Cassie Richards, with whom he shared a special bond and quick wit! There is an inside joke between them of "you can't park there" you'll have to ask about that one! Several cousins and friends were more like bonus siblings to him!

Zach enjoyed adventures and any time with his son, Caleb. He also enjoyed driving the back roads especially with his mom, chasing the sunset to take pictures, hunting and mushroom picking along with the occasional tannerite explosion. Many Sundays were spent watching NASCAR with his friends at his buddy Barry's house. Zach was quick-witted with a great sense of humor, he loved laughing and making others laugh enjoying adventures anytime with his son. He was the kind of person who was always there for those who loved no matter the time or task. He lived life to the fullest even throughout his health issues; not even those could keep him down long! Zach graduated from Benzie Central High School and also attended career tech center for welding where he earned top honors. He worked in the welding field at Ludtke Engineering and later at Groff hydro seeding and finally as a driver for prairie farms as the "milkman". Although this is a tragic and unexpected loss, Zach wouldn't want those he loved to continue to grieve. He would want us to remember the good times, laughs and memories we shared.

A simple memorial and luncheon will be held at the Kaleva VFW on June 1, 2025 at 2 pm. His family asks that you please wear your favorite NASCAR, hunting or Lions attire.
